  • Name John Goheen
    Born 29 Oct 1769  [2
    • Comments: Re: John Goheen listed as born "Say 1770" has parents listed as Thomas and Bridget John Goheen . These parents are listed as b. 1711. &1712. That would make his mother age 58 at the time of Johns birth. - too old to be his mother. The Names Thomas and Bridget were not given to children or grandchildren
The Wright Bible gives EDWARD b. March 23, 1747 and Elizabeth
Goheen as parents of a John Goheen b. Oct. 29, 1769. The same birthdate for a John Goheen is written in the notes of the book "A Treatise concerning Religious Affection". The Treatise book notes mention grandchildren with the names of Edward and Elizabeth.
So, I propose a change of birthdate for John Goheen from "Say 1770" to. Oct. 29, 1769 and a change of his parents to EDWARD and Elizabeth Goheen. Would you accept that? Would you like another copy of the Treatise document?
